About
Access cutting-edge technology, equipment and expertise
Nova Scotia’s first Technology Access Centre, SEATAC supports Canadian businesses by providing research and development services. Drawing on Nova Scotia Community College’s (NSCC) resources and well-equipped facilities, SEATAC offers services that increase productivity and innovation of small- and medium-sized enterprises in the ocean sector.
SEATAC takes a market-driven approach to its role in the ocean innovation ecosystem, and provides efficient, responsive and customer-focused services. The Centre functions like a not-for-profit business. We offer a variety of expertise including prototyping, data analytics and communications, and advanced manufacturing to help companies develop new products and services.
SEATAC is co-located at the Centre for Ocean Ventures and Entrepreneurship (COVE) and the NSCC Ivany Campus. Enabling innovators to seize opportunities in the rapidly growing global ocean economy, SEATAC is here to help to position Canada’s ocean technology industry as a leader in sustainable ocean innovation.
