Access cutting-edge technology, equipment and expertise

SEATAC is Nova Scotia’s first Technology Access Centre. Technology Access Centres support Canadian businesses by providing research and development services. Drawing on Nova Scotia Community College’s (NSCC) resources, SEATAC offers services that increase productivity and innovation of small- and medium-sized enterprises in the ocean sector. SEATAC’s team collaborates with NSCC and has access to the College’s well-equipped facilities.

Our approach

SEATAC takes a market-driven approach to its role in the ocean innovation ecosystem, and provides efficient, responsive and customer-focused services. The Centre functions like a not-for-profit business. We offer a variety of expertise including prototyping, data analytics and communications, and advanced manufacturing to help companies develop new products and services.

Our location

SEATAC is co-located at the Centre for Ocean Ventures and Entrepreneurship (COVE) and the NSCC Ivany Campus.
